The job description:
I found a job on “International Sales” that I am very concerned about and want to pursue through Linkedin [1]. It is an internship from Tesla [1].
To begin with, Tesla is a comprehensive international company that designs, manufactures, sells, and services the world’s best solar technology, energy storage systems, and electric vehicles. It is headquartered in California and employs people from all over the world [1]. At the same time, Tesla’s team People come from all over the world and operate on a non-traditional concept of interdisciplinary cooperation [1]. At the same time, each team member is willing to accept the challenge and hopes to continue to innovate.
Tesla’s recruitment this time is to provide an internship opportunity for college students and the internship period is one year. This internship will not be limited to the same job position. The intern will take turns in different positions to improve the teamwork experience to achieve the purpose of improving personal skills and experience. At the same time, the intern can also experience some Important project opportunities to experience Tesla’s life. Finally, this internship also needs to undertake some specific work content: first, manage the market size for a specific segment; second, determine the main driving factors for new customer quotes; third, work with the product team to determine how we meet the ideal Customer requirements; fourth, showing business cases to key business stakeholders (financial, sales, product, and engineering); fifth, interns need to work with other teams across the enterprise to seek their opinions and improve their quotations [1]. The above is the entire one-year Tesla company internship requirements.
Reflection:
I choose the internship because I want to be a wonderful data analyst and all my materials meet the requirements of the recruitment. Tesla is a universally known huge company, with nice opportunities and mature developing talents system, which is consistent with the goal of my internship. The internship is what helps graduate students, like me, to try to step into the work position, apply what I have learned to the practice and knowledge about the principles of companies. Tesla is undoubtfully a good place for me to attain the internship goal. New energy is a hot topic for the modern world, because people are pursuing more environmentally friendly energy to replace traditional fossil fuel. Tesla is famous for its electronic cars, which is consistent with what modern people like. Thus, I think Tesla is a prospective company and will have a nice improvement in the future. I want to intern in such a prospective company to improve myself and broaden my eyesight so that I can accumulate more useful experience for my future work. If I am lucky enough, I hope I can leave a deep impression on the manager so that I can get an offer for a full-time job in Tesla. For the ability of myself, I had six years of working experience in China before studying for a master’s degree. During these six years, I was promoted from an ordinary employee to the deputy general manager, and at the same time, I nearly doubled the company’s annual sales volume. I also set up my own company and the performance was very consistent. I have a lot of experience working across multiple teams and connecting multiple teams to work together. I have the ability to work hard and working smart, and I also spend my best effort to get all kinds of knowledge of data analyzing, so I think I am capable of this internship job. If I work in Tesla, not only I can attain valued experience and knowledge during working, but Tesla can also earn more profit due to my participation. It is a good thing for both sides.
